Is it safe?

100%! Your safety is our top priority, and we keep this in mind for everything we do in our classes. We use sparring and training methods that minimize risk, making martial arts safe and accessible for anyone.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable workout clothes and a water bottle are all you need. All equipment is provided.

Do I need to be fit to start training in martial arts?

No, you don’t need to be fit to start training in martial arts. Our classes are designed for all fitness levels, and our coaches will help you progress at your own pace. Training will naturally improve your fitness as you learn techniques and build strength.

Do I need prior experience to join?

No experience? No problem. Just join our beginner-only classes.

What if I don't have enough time?

Our class timings are very flexible, rarely any of our students struggle to make time for their classes. Have a look at our full timetable to see which session works best for you.

Is Prospect MMA just for fighters?

The majority of our members don't compete in martial arts. Most of our members are here to learn self -defence, improve fitness, gain confidence and get in great shape.

Does what you teach actually work?

A number of our coaches and students compete at the highest levels, with several being national champions in their respective martial arts. Be cautious of fake martial arts schools claiming to offer expert tuition. Do your research beforehand to see if the academy performs well in recognized competitions and whether the instructors have a reputable standing within the Mixed Martial Arts community.
